Product description

The VS1 is an advanced vibration sensor powered by a patented electromagnetic generator, designed specifically for vibrating screens, feeders, and other vibratory equipment. Built for rugged industrial use, it features IP67 ingress protection and an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +80 °C.

Unlike battery-powered sensors that compromise between data volume and battery life, the self-sustaining VS1 eliminates the need for battery replacements while enabling continuous, high-frequency data streaming in real time. It measures acceleration on three axes using a high-precision MEMS accelerometer with selectable sampling rates up to 16,384 Hz and includes an internal temperature sensor.

With an IP67-rated, lightweight anodized aluminum and PA6 enclosure, the device is built for durability and easy mounting. It communicates via 2.4 GHz radio frequencies, supporting data rates of up to 1 Mbps and ensuring robust wireless connectivity.

Featuring edge data storage and a typical product lifetime of more than five years, the VS1 is the ideal choice for process monitoring and predictive maintenance in demanding environments.

How are the sensors mounted?

The sensors use magnetic mounting as standard and can also be mounted using screws, adhesive tape, or glue depending on the application. VS1 uses three magnets, while VS10-C uses two magnet mounts.
